Wednesday 29/04 extra

I’m looking for a tea with a sweet but strong, long lasting taste. Green and white are out of the question, but after tasting the Yellow Gold and the Da Hong Bao last week, I thought I’ve narrowed down my range a little: it has to be an oolong, and it has to be somewhere between the Yellow Gold and the Da Hong Bao.

Megan poured me a cup of Phoenix Honey, which she said is in that range. It smells like dry roses or dry tulips, but it is less floral than Yellow Gold. After it cools, it smells and tastes like lychee to me, but also a bit bitter. The Yellow Gold seemed sweeter to me.
