Pair of porcelain yunomi

Three years ago (wow, I’ve been in Berkeley that long?!) I won this set at a silent auction at a Japanese Buddhist Temple. I was *so* excited. I didn’t know what they were called at the time, but I knew they were some kind of tea cups. The different sizes, one smaller than the other, and the different but matching patterns were interesting. Now I know that they make a pair of meoto yunomi, “married couple yunomi,” where the smaller cup is the wife cup.

I guess the bowls are chawan (tea bowls), but what kind of chawan though? The porcelain is too delicate, it would make sense that these are for usucha (thin tea), wouldn’t it?

Could someone tell me what these words say, please?
